Synopsis
Hina Wong-Kalu mentors a young student named Hoʻonani at a school in Hawaii. Hoʻonani aspires to join the all-male hula group, challenging traditional gender roles. Hina, a māhū and cultural teacher, balances her mentorship while seeking a romantic relationship with a man from Tonga.
