Synopsis

Mansaku Nomura, at 89, reflects on his life and the art of Kyogen as he prepares for a new performance. His son Mansai, 54, serves as the artistic director, seeking to adapt the theater to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Yuki prepares to take on four roles in "Nasu Yoichi Narrative." Set in the summer of 2020, the documentary captures the dynamics of three generations of the Nomura family within the Izumi school of Kyogen.
