Maria Jansson, a teacher from Tyresö, travels every other month to Åkersvängen, a home for people with disabilities located on Åland. She cuts hair for her brother and his friends at this facility. The documentary follows her routine visits as she provides this service. Each trip strengthens her connection with the residents and the community.
