Synopsis
A woman chief leads a remote community in Africa as they confront the challenges of wildlife poaching. For years, illegal hunting has left their homeland declared “depleted” of wildlife. The chief partners with a safari operator to restore stability. However, the community faces disease, food insecurity, and alcoholism. Young girls are sold as child brides to support families. South African land speculators and poaching gangs threaten their efforts. The chief fights against these forces for a better future.
