Synopsis
In Rio de Janeiro's affluent Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, a clique of high school girls-Bia (Valentina Herszage), Michele (Júlia Roliz), Mariana (Mariana Oliveira), and Renata (Dora Freind)-navigate their privileged yet lonely lives. As a series of murders grips the area, their fascination with the victims blurs the lines between life, desire, and death. Blending coming-of-age themes with elements of horror, "Kill Me Please," directed by Anita Rocha da Silveira, explores teenage sexuality and fragility, earning accolades at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival and selections at SXSW and Venice.
