Synopsis
Ketill Larsen, a 71-year-old man, lives in a solitary house overlooking a shopping mall on the outskirts of Reykjavik. Each day, he hitchhikes to the city center with a bag of his own artwork. In local cafes, he writes poems and creates at least 15 paintings. A retired actor, Ketill records his stories on a portable tape recorder and dons a Santa Claus costume during Christmas. Directed by Tómas Lemarquis, this 29-minute film captures Ketill's unique artistic life and his place in Icelandic culture.
