Synopsis
Khatereh Khodaei interviews artists and members of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents, known as Kanoon, in Iran. The documentary focuses on the history of Iranian cinema, particularly the filmmakers active before the 1979 revolution. Kanoon provided a platform for these filmmakers to express socio-political and cultural critiques through children's cinema. The film argues that contemporary Iranian cinema owes much to the artistic groundwork established by Kanoon.
