Synopsis

Sloth bears, native to India, exhibit a secretive and nocturnal lifestyle that has long intrigued researchers. Filmmakers Oliver Goetzl and Ivo Nörenberg dedicated over three years and more than 200 days in the field to document these elusive creatures. Their efforts resulted in rare daytime footage that reveals previously unknown behaviors, enhancing the understanding of sloth bears and their connection to Baloo, the beloved character from Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book."
