Synopsis

At the WildOne Wildlife Rescue Station in Chishang, Taitung, veterinarians and rehabilitators care for injured wildlife during the spring and summer breeding seasons. Many animals arrive frightened and stressed, making treatment difficult. Caregivers must manage their emotions to prevent animals from becoming too familiar with humans. The film covers the processes of receiving injured animals and the challenges of determining their readiness for release into the wild. Euthanasia may be necessary if rehabilitation is not possible.
