Synopsis
Jasper Johns works on his reinterpretation of 'Air Ocean World' in the late 1970s, using Buckminster Fuller's dymaxion map. The film covers his artistic evolution from 1972 to 1990, including the 1973 piece 'Untitled', known for its cross-hatching and anatomical motifs. As Johns develops a more personal style, the documentary concludes with his series 'The Seasons' and his detailed etching inspired by this work. Judith Wechsler directed the 25-minute film.
