Synopsis
Seyyed Jamaluddin Asadabadi, at just seventeen, achieves the status of ijtihad and begins a mission to combat colonialism. His travels take him across various regions as he seeks to educate others and address pressing political and social issues of his time. Directed by Amir Rooyini, "Jamal-o-din" presents a portrait of a young scholar dedicated to improving the world through knowledge and activism. The documentary runs for 60 minutes and was released in 2023.
