Synopsis
Daniel Jacoby travels through Hokkaido, searching for a man connected to a potato. The film documents Jacoby's encounters with various landscapes and objects on the northernmost island of Japan. Unaddressed letters from the elusive man provide insight into his bond with the root plant. As Jacoby journeys, the scenes take on an otherworldly quality in relation to the potato-man's story.
