Synopsis

James Ryan O’Neil, an Australian convicted murderer, is the focus of this documentary. Although he is only charged with the murder of a 9-year-old boy, he holds the title of Tasmania’s longest-serving inmate due to strong suspicions of being a serial killer. Retired detective Gordon Davie engages in a four-year conversation with James, probing into his psyche and the circumstances surrounding his crimes. The documentary also addresses missing children cases, connecting them to various locations and times that O’Neil has been throughout his life, providing a chilling insight into the mind of a killer.
