Synopsis

Gamagori City in Aichi Prefecture buzzed with excitement in 2020 as production began on "ZOKKI," a live-action adaptation of Hiroyuki Ohashi's short story collection. Directed by Naoto Takenaka, Takayuki Yamada, and Takumi Saitoh, the film involved local volunteers, including printers and bakers, who dedicated eight years to support the project. "URAZOKKI" captures the behind-the-scenes efforts of a group of amateurs striving to bring the film to life in their once peaceful town.
