Synopsis

In Raqqa, a city ruled by fear, the Islamic State exerts control over the lives of its residents. In March 2012, President Bashar al-Assad faces protests in Raqqa, a city he once considered loyal, as the Syrian Revolution gains momentum. Assad's troops respond with live fire against demonstrators. By January 2014, the Islamic State seizes control of Raqqa, which had previously fallen from regime control. Activists like Abdulaziz, who escape to Turkey, form networks to share information about the situation in Raqqa, aiming to challenge the narrative that the city is the capital of the Islamic State. Their efforts highlight the ongoing resistance against the oppressive regime and the fight for truth in a city dominated by terror.
