Synopsis

Damanhur is a unique Italian ecovillage located in the hills of Northern Italy, founded in 1977. This microsociety has over 600 citizens who communicate in their own language and follow a distinct religion and currency. They regard their leader, Oberto Airaudi Falco, as a time traveler who visited the legendary city of Atlantis, where he acquired ancient healing practices that are still in use today. Each year, Damanhur hosts a grand birthday celebration, attracting Damanhurians from around the globe. During this event, participants don white robes and engage in ceremonial activities that reflect their rich cultural heritage and beliefs.
