This week, Michelle Despain returns home to discover her husband, Mark Despain, shot dead in their kitchen. Initially, investigators suspect a botched burglary; however, they find no signs of forced entry or theft. The Despain family is embroiled in a bitter feud, which intensifies after disturbing photos of Michelle's daughter are found on Mark's father, Jack Despain's phone. Tensions rise further with Michelle's father, Carl Kelly, who does odd jobs for the family. As police dig deeper into the case, the family's dark secrets and conflicts come to light, revealing a complex web of motives and relationships surrounding Mark's tragic death.
