Synopsis

Stare Juchy, a Polish village, faces a significant change as many residents leave for work in Iceland. A third of the population has departed, leaving mostly older individuals behind. They wait for their children and grandchildren, who have settled into new lives across Europe. The distance makes visits rare and costly. Instead, families rely on Skype for communication, maintaining connections despite the physical separation. The film captures these interactions and the emotional toll of distance.
