Synopsis

Ali stands at a checkpoint in Aden, Yemen, a city under siege since the Houthis launched their attack in 2015. Many young men like him abandoned their studies and jobs to defend their home. As the economy collapsed, job opportunities vanished, forcing graduates into the armed forces. Ali struggles with the daily grind of military life, hustling to support his family. He longs to leave the soldier's path behind, but options are scarce in a city marked by broken promises.
