Synopsis

Gabriel Ferrater, known as Biel, was born in 1922 during a tumultuous time in Spain. His childhood was marked by the Spanish Civil War and the establishment of the Spanish Republic. Biel's early life was profoundly affected by his father's imprisonment for advocating Catalan independence. As political unrest intensified, he faced the challenges of his environment, which shaped his development as a poet and his understanding of human experiences.
