Carlos Pertius, hospitalized at Praia Vermelha in Rio de Janeiro, faced a turning point in his life at the age of 29. After the death of his father, he experienced a vision he called “the planetarium of God.” Diagnosed with schizophrenia, Pertius found solace in the studio created by Nise da Silveira in 1946. His artwork, characterized by mandalas, reflects his efforts to impose order on his mental turmoil. The film presents his unique perspective on the world through his creative expressions.
