Lada, a yoga instructor, and Lucio, a ship's cook, are among the last 13 residents of Biševo, a small island facing extinction. They have formed a city council to secure legal status for their community. Their goal is to protect Biševo from the encroaching tourist industry, which plans to convert the old school building into a tourist center featuring multimedia presentations. The documentary captures their efforts to preserve their way of life amid these challenges.
