Synopsis

Enric Duran, a Catalan activist, orchestrated the theft of €500,000 from thirty-nine banks through loans he never intended to repay. Instead of personal gain, Duran allocated the funds to social projects, aiming to highlight the flaws of the banking system and promote economic equality. After going on the run in 2013 to evade imprisonment, Duran became a prominent figure in the anti-globalization movement. Director Anna Giralt Gris investigates the implications of his actions and seeks to understand the complexities of legality and legitimacy in Duran's mission.
