Synopsis

Sam Vaknin, author of "Malignant Self Love," explores his identity as a self-identified narcissist and potential psychopath through rigorous psychopathy testing. As the first civilian volunteer for such an assessment, Vaknin confronts the complex scientific, ethical, and social implications of the psychopathy label. His relationship with his wife, Lidija, is strained by her doubts about his suitability as a parent and her sister's belief that she has been manipulated during their twelve-year marriage.
