On June 30, Laura's beloved boxer dog Dylan passes away after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor just 18 days prior. Living in Selby, Yorkshire, Laura and her partner Richard face the emotional challenge of dealing with Dylan's death. They keep his body in the freezer, a decision that Laura finds embarrassing but necessary as they prepare to bury him in their garden. They plan to honor Dylan with a headstone and intend to bury future pets there as well. In a unique twist, they are set to welcome two cloned puppies from a controversial biotech firm in South Korea, reflecting their deep love for animals and their desire to keep Dylan's spirit alive.
