Synopsis
Liane tends to her Japanese cucumber farm, relying on her husband Boun and her grandson Aiden for support. Aiden, raised by Liane since childhood due to his parents' early separation, has developed a close bond with her. Together, they work to save money for Liane's return to Laos, where she hopes to reunite with her children after two decades apart. Directed by Justin Hiromi Pascua, "Homestead" runs for 13 minutes and captures their daily lives and aspirations.
