Synopsis
George Sluizer began filming after a near-death experience from an aneurism. His project, titled Homeland, is the fourth installment in a series about two Palestinian families he has followed since 1974. The film documents their lives as they are scattered across the globe, unable to return home. It also reflects Sluizer's personal connection to these families and provides a historical context regarding the Palestinian people's quest for land and dignity. The documentary runs for 76 minutes and was released in 2010.
