Synopsis
Yrjö, a Finnish student, leaves the University of Sorbonne in Paris in 1935. He walks to Helsinki. In Germany, he meets Heinrich Himmler, who shows interest in the kantele, a Finnish instrument. Himmler hires Yrjö as a researcher at the Ahnenerbe institute. His task is to investigate the Aryan roots of the runic singing culture from Finnish Carelia. The documentary runs for 56 minutes and presents this unique historical encounter.
