Synopsis

Heligoland, April 18, 1947, stands on the brink of destruction. British forces prepare to detonate over 6,000 tons of explosives, aiming to erase the island's military past, including its air raid shelters and submarine bunker. As the Heligolanders await the outcome of the impending explosion, anxiety grips those evacuated from their homes.
