Synopsis

Claudia Andujar, a Jewish survivor of World War II, dedicated her life to advocating for the Yanomani people in the Brazilian Amazon after fleeing to Brazil as an exile. The film revisits her extensive collection of photographs and her activism, while also addressing the current vulnerabilities faced by indigenous communities. Dialogues between Andujar, shaman Davi Kopenawa, and activist Carlo Zacquini unfold with insights from Hungarian philosopher Peter Pál Pelbart, connecting the histories of Nagyvárad and the Yanomani land.
