Mstyslav roamed the streets of Kyiv, singing songs about Ukraine for over 20 years. Inspired by Ukraine's independence in 1991, he grew a traditional mustache and poured his heart into his music, despite his lack of skill. He faced threats and insults while collecting coins from passers-by. On weekends, he drank, read, and participated in patriotic song contests. After his death, his life revealed a deeper truth beyond the struggles he faced.
