Gladiators is a British television entertainment series that aired on ITV from 10 October 1992 to 1 January 2000. It is based on the American format American Gladiators and became popular enough to inspire adaptations in Australia and Sweden. The show featured various physical challenges where contestants competed against a group of athletic gladiators. The series was originally hosted by John Fashanu and Ulrika Jonsson, with Fashanu being replaced by Jeremy Guscott in 1997 before returning for the final series in 1999.
The production took place primarily at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, with some episodes recorded on sets from international versions of the show. The series included a referee, John Anderson, and timekeepers throughout its run, while John Sachs served as the commentator. Additionally, the show featured a cheerleading group known as G-Force. A children's version titled Gladiators: Train 2 Win aired on CITV from 1995 to 1998, further expanding the franchise's reach to younger audiences.
