Synopsis
Alireza, a 36-year-old man from Raz and Jargalan County in Northeast Iran, faces the consequences of the Gharshelegh tradition, which involves family exchanges for marriage. After being compelled to marry his cousin, he visits Tehran and witnesses different social norms regarding relationships. Frustrated by his circumstances, Alireza separates from his wife. Years later, he decides to choose a partner on his own terms, challenging the expectations of his family and the weight of traditional customs.
