Synopsis
Monika Treut meets with pioneers of the transgender movement in Berlin two decades after her 1999 film, "Gendernauts." The documentary features intimate interviews with key figures who helped shape the movement. It captures their personal growth and ongoing activism since the late 1990s. Through their stories, Treut illustrates how their work continues to influence current discussions about gender and identity. "Genderation" runs for 88 minutes and is produced in Germany.
