Synopsis

Three families reliant on benefits receive a cash handout of £26,000 each, the maximum yearly benefit cap. In exchange, they agree to forgo their benefits and attempt to transform their lives using this lump sum. The experiment challenges them to make decisions that could lead to financial independence and improved happiness. With no strings attached, the families must navigate the temptations of sudden wealth while striving to build businesses or secure employment, ultimately testing their resolve and aspirations for a better future.
