Synopsis

Quanqi Zhu works on an installation at Sacred Songshan mountain in China. He collaborates with Latvian architect Austris Mailitis. The project faces challenges due to language differences and cultural expectations. As construction begins, both Zhu and Mailitis confront their ambitions and the obstacles they encounter. The film captures their creative process and the evolving relationship between the two as they build the installation. Directed by Žanete Skarule, the documentary runs for 55 minutes and was released in 2017.
