Synopsis

Shen Zhen-zhong, known as Mr. Kite, has spent over 20 years studying the black kite in Taiwan. Once a common bird and a key figure in a children's game, the black kite now faces extinction. From 1992 to 2015, filmmaker Liang Chieh-te documents Mr. Kite's efforts to understand the reasons behind the bird's decline. The film captures his commitment to conservation and the relationship between people and nature in Taiwan.
