Synopsis
José Cardoso's son marvels at frogs and flowers in their garden. Cardoso connects images from online news to the struggles of an Amazonian community facing land destruction. He links their plight to the policies of Brazil's right-wing president, who defends exploitation of the Amazon amid rising resource prices due to the war in Ukraine. Buddhist monk Thích Nhất Hạnh offers a perspective on compassion towards adversaries. The documentary runs for 29 minutes and was released in 2024.
