Synopsis

In the village of Adimalathura along the Kerala coast, traditional fishermen confront dwindling fish stocks due to the mechanization of the fishing industry. As their catch decreases each season, a group of local fishermen unites to address the crisis. They construct artificial reefs from ferro-concrete and plant them on the seabed in hopes of revitalizing marine life. "Fish Tales," part of the "India’s Quest" series, reflects on the challenges faced by these communities 50 years after India's independence.
