Synopsis
Sipke Jan Bousema visits countries where being gay or lesbian is met with hostility. In the Netherlands, he observes the annual Gay Pride celebration, a stark contrast to nations where sexual relationships between the same sex are criminalized. Seventy-six countries impose legal consequences on such relationships. Bousema speaks with LGBTQ individuals worldwide about their daily struggles for love and equal rights.
