Synopsis
Li and Lianzi navigate life as migrant workers in a bustling Chinese megacity. For 20 years, they have faced challenges without local Household Registration. Their eldest son, Manshan, prepares for the high school entrance exam, while their younger son remains with his grandmother. To reunite their family, Li and Lianzi aim to convert to local Household Registration through a government point-based system. Without enough points, Manshan's chances for public high school diminish, leaving the family's future uncertain.
