Synopsis

Arturo O’Farrill travels to Veracruz, Mexico, to connect with masters of son jarocho, a folk music tradition that dates back 300 years. He participates in the Fandango Fronterizo, a music festival held on both sides of the United States-Mexico border. The event aims to transform the border wall from a symbol of division into one of unity. O’Farrill leads the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra as they engage with local musicians and celebrate their shared cultural heritage.
