Synopsis
Bai Xiuying oversees a local church in Yiminhe, a small town in Inner Mongolia. Only one of the five congregations worships legally, forcing her to rush between various locations for services. After two years of effort, she secures approval to build a new church that can accommodate all congregations. The construction faces funding challenges, and upon completion, the contractor demands payment before handing over the building. Bai finds herself in significant debt while the congregations continue to meet in their original venues.
