Synopsis

Kinshasa serves as the backdrop for a collaborative film project involving two Congolese and two Belgian filmmakers. As they prepare to document the city on the eve of postponed elections, they confront differing perspectives shaped by their distinct histories. Questions arise about the narrative's direction, the subjects to include, and the intended audience. Through artistic performances in public spaces, the filmmakers seek to portray Kinshasa's complex relationship with its colonial past and the world beyond.
