Synopsis

Ali Akbar Sadeghi creates a new artwork marked by violent expression. His family grows worried about his emotional health due to his history of depression. In response, his sons hire a team of psychoanalysts to help their father. During this process, they decide to document his life and work, resulting in the film "Facing the Rook." This 76-minute documentary presents a free interpretation of Sadeghi's dreams and poems, focusing on his latest piece and the family's concern for his well-being.
