Synopsis
At the Kyiv Pechery Lavra, a young Orthodox priest leaves his post due to the intolerance and hypocrisy he witnesses. He seeks a new community among gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgender individuals, as well as those living with HIV/AIDS. The official Orthodox Church denies these individuals the right to be Christians, while societal homophobia forces them to conceal their identities. The film questions what changes are necessary for the Church to accept LGBT believers.
