Synopsis

Seventeen-year-old Zu Zu dreams of a better future for her family amid the turmoil in Myanmar. In 2020, the filmmaker arrives just before the military coup and the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. As the country descends into chaos, Zu Zu's determination shines through. The film captures her friendship with the filmmaker, creating a shared diary that reflects their experiences during a time of upheaval. The 66-minute documentary presents a personal narrative against the backdrop of national crisis.
