Escaping the Wall

Synopsis

By 1964, dissent against the Berlin Wall intensifies as people attempting to cross are shot on site. Outrage grows among people on both sides of the divide due to the increasing death toll. Resistance movements gain momentum, with 23-year-old law student Klaus Von Keussler emerging as a key player in one such group. He and his fellow West Berliners devise a daring plan to rescue their East Berlin counterparts from the oppressive East German state. The urgency to overcome the wall escalates as they confront the harsh realities of their divided city.
