Synopsis
Leo, Patricia, La Estrella, Ariel, and Cris share their experiences of leaving home to embrace their identities in El sexilio. Directed by Eduardo Casanova, the 10-minute documentary features their personal narratives, detailing struggles and victories in the fight for acceptance. Their stories inspire the initiative Hay Ganas de Orgullo de Pueblo, which aims to support those facing similar challenges. The film also includes a reinterpretation of the song "Volver" by Madrid singer Soleá Morente, adding an optimistic tone to the narrative.
