Synopsis
Ricardo Palma, a notorious figure in Chilean crime, was sentenced to life in prison for the murders of a former carabineros colonel and Senator Jaime Guzmán. In 1996, he escaped from a maximum security facility, becoming Chile's most wanted fugitive for over two decades. His evasion ended in February 2018 when Interpol agents apprehended him in Paris. Directed by Sergio Castro San Martín, "El Negro" recounts Palma's criminal activities and the extensive manhunt that followed his escape.
